Kira | What Women Wear

The Kira is what women wear in Bhutan.  In consists of 3-4 pieces, always colorful and bright! The kira is the skirt, wonju - inner blouse, and toego - outer jacket. Upon arrival in Paro, this traditional dresses will be issued to me and I will wear it for the duration of my stay in Bhutan.  A dear family friend of mine from Minnesota, last Friday, was proposing ideas for long underwear... this is your chance!  Make me a suggestion!  Keep in mind, temperature in Trongsa will be as low as 37F... building are not heated... there will be both sitting and hiking on any given day... demanding breathability and happy sitting. Help!
